At Loxsport, we take privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, how we protect it, and the choices and rights you may have when you visit or purchase from https://loxsport.com (the “Site”).

This notice applies to customers located in the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, Spain, Canada, Italy, Belgium, and Portugal.

This Policy is provided for transparency and general information and is not legal advice. Your rights and our obligations may vary depending on your location and how we operate.

1) Information we collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

When you place an order (including guest checkout), create an account (if available), or contact us, we may collect:

  • Contact details: name, email address, phone number.

  • Delivery and billing details: delivery address, billing address (if different), and delivery notes.

  • Order and transaction details: items purchased, quantities, prices, order IDs, payment status, return/refund information, and delivery/tracking status (when available).

  • Customer support content: messages you send, and files you provide (for example, photos of damage or packaging related to a request).

Payments: We do not store full payment card numbers or CVV codes on our servers. Payments are handled by third-party payment providers (for example, PayPal and other providers we may enable). Those providers handle payment information under their own privacy policies.

1.2 Information collected automatically

When you use the Site, we may automatically collect:

  • Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, language settings.

  • Traffic and activity data: referring page/URL, pages viewed, time spent, clicks, searches on the Site, and cart/checkout interactions.

  • Cookies and similar technologies: identifiers stored on your device and related technical data (see Section 6).

1.3 Information from third parties (where applicable)

We may receive limited information from:

  • Delivery partners: delivery status, confirmation of delivery, and failed delivery notices.

  • Payment providers: confirmation of payment success/failure and transaction references.

  • Advertising and measurement tools: campaign performance data such as ad clicks and conversion metrics (for example via Google Ads), depending on how the Site is configured.

1.4 Children’s information

The Site is not intended for children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at [email protected] so we can take appropriate action.

2) How we use your information

We use information for the following purposes:

  • Order handling: confirm purchases, process payments, arrange shipping, and provide order updates.

  • Customer support: respond to inquiries, handle returns/refunds, and resolve issues and disputes.

  • Site operations: maintain functionality, troubleshoot errors, improve performance, and protect security.

  • Marketing messages (where applicable): send newsletters or promotions only when you opt in; you can unsubscribe at any time.

  • Security and legal compliance: reduce fraud risk, enforce policies, meet tax/accounting obligations, and respond to lawful requests.

3) How we share your information

Loxsport does not sell or rent your personal information for money. We share information only as needed to operate the Site and provide services, including with:

  • Payment providers to complete transactions.

  • Carriers and delivery partners to ship orders and provide tracking updates.

  • Website and infrastructure providers (hosting, cloud services, security, and email delivery tools).

  • Advertising and measurement partners (for example Google Ads) to measure campaign performance and, depending on configuration, support remarketing based on Site interactions.

  • Professional advisers (accountants, auditors, legal counsel) when necessary.

Legal and safety disclosures

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with laws or legal processes, protect rights and safety, or prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.

Business transfers

If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to protections consistent with this Policy.

4) Data retention

We keep information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including:

  • Order and invoicing records: up to 6 years (for accounting/tax, warranty support, and dispute resolution).

  • Customer support communications: up to 2 years.

  • Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe or withdraw consent.

  • Technical logs and security records: for a reasonable period needed for operations and security.

When information is no longer needed, we delete it, anonymize it, or securely restrict access.

5) Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, such as TLS/SSL encryption, access controls, and monitoring practices. However, no online system can guarantee absolute security.

6) Cookies and similar technologies (including Google Ads)

The Site may use cookies and similar technologies for:

  • Essential functions: cart and checkout flow, security, and session management.

  • Analytics and advertising/measurement: conversion tracking and campaign measurement (for example via Google Ads), and potentially remarketing depending on configuration.

Cookie controls: The Site may not currently provide an on-site cookie preference tool (such as a cookie banner or settings panel) that lets you enable or disable categories of non-essential cookies.

You can still manage cookies through:

  • Your browser settings (block, delete, or limit cookies), and

  • Google’s advertising settings (see Section 11).

Blocking certain cookies may affect Site functions, including cart and checkout.

7) International data transfers

Your information may be stored or processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to protect information when it is transferred internationally.

8) Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

  • request access to and receive a copy of your personal information;

  • request correction of inaccurate information;

  • request deletion of certain information (subject to legal exceptions);

  • object to or restrict certain processing; and/or

  • withdraw consent where processing is based on consent (for example marketing emails).

To exercise rights, contact us at [email protected]. We may request identity verification and will respond within a reasonable timeframe (often within 30 days, depending on the request and legal requirements).

United States (certain state privacy laws)

If applicable in your state, you may have additional rights, including the right to opt out of certain processing such as targeted advertising. To request an opt-out, email us at [email protected] with the subject line: “Opt-out of targeted advertising”. We will apply your request to the extent required by law and technically feasible.

EU/UK legal bases (GDPR/UK GDPR)

Where GDPR/UK GDPR applies, we process personal data based on:

  • contract necessity (to fulfill your order),

  • legitimate interests (to operate, improve, and secure the Site, balanced against your rights),

  • consent (where required, such as for marketing), and

  • legal obligations (tax, accounting, compliance).

We do not use solely automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects on you.

9) Additional transparency

If you post reviews, comments, or upload images in public areas of the Site, that content may be visible to others. Avoid posting sensitive personal information in public areas.

Third-party links
The Site may link to third-party websites. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies; we encourage you to review them.

Sensitive information
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information (such as precise geolocation, biometric data, or data revealing racial or ethnic origin) unless required for a specific purpose and permitted by law.

10) Changes to this Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when updates are made. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice on the Site or by email where permitted.
