About this page
Loxsport designs and builds solid-wood furniture and supports delivery to the regions listed above. This policy explains how Loxsport ships, what to expect at delivery, and how Loxsport resolves issues for furniture orders. All charges are shown in USD. For eligible destinations, import taxes, duties, brokerage, and customs processing are collected at checkout, so nothing is due on arrival (DDP where available).
How Loxsport prepares and sends furniture
Loxsport outfits each hardwood piece for travel with rigid boards, dense foam, and reinforced corners. Orientation arrows on larger panels help handlers keep cartons upright. Smaller builds ship via parcel carriers; bulkier or heavier pieces move on furniture freight. At checkout, the full payable amount in USD is shown—including freight, handling, fuel, taxes, duties, and brokerage where relevant—no payment is taken at the door.
Helpful clarifications
Estimated delivery window appears at checkout and reflects lead time plus carrier transit.
U.S. sales tax is shown at checkout where required and is included in the USD total.
Incoterm for international lanes is DDP when available—no customs charges at delivery.
Payments use cards or supported wallets (no COD); all charges are in USD.
Address verification is performed by carriers; if details are incomplete or restricted, Loxsport will request corrections before dispatch to prevent delays.
Where Loxsport delivers
Loxsport ships to the United States, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Australia, Spain, Canada, Italy, Belgium, and Portugal.
Loxsport cannot deliver to PO Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO, or certain remote territories (for example, Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, and select outlying islands in Europe or Australia). A standard street address with safe truck access is required. If your location has vehicle restrictions, narrow stairwells or elevators, or gated entries, contact Loxsport in advance to review options and any third-party add-on services.
Carriers and service levels
Parcel networks: UPS, FedEx, USPS (limited small U.S. parcels), and DHL Express for international routes serving the regions above.
Furniture freight (LTL): Oversized or heavy pieces travel on liftgate trucks with curbside delivery (ground level at curb or driveway). Curbside service does not include in-home placement, stairs, assembly, or packaging removal. Freight partners typically call or text to schedule a window. Palletizing and stretch-wrap may be added for protection.
Signature control: For select high-value consignments, an adult signature may be required; the tracking email will indicate when this applies.
Additional details: Parcel carriers generally attempt delivery multiple times before holding at a local facility or access point; ID may be required to collect. If Authority to Leave is used where available, risk transfers on the successful delivery scan (not offered when signature is required).
Lead time and transit time
Lead time is the period before pickup used for inspection, packing, and labeling.
Transit time is the period after the carrier picks up the shipment.
Business days are Monday through Friday (CST). U.S. federal holidays are excluded. International routes may require extra time for security and customs. Severe weather, local holidays, labor actions, or network congestion can extend timelines. Address changes after dispatch may require a reroute and can delay delivery.
Cut-off: Orders confirmed before the daily cut-off typically enter processing the same working day.
Rates and timeframes (USD, furniture only)
All amounts appear at checkout. Flat rates and free-shipping thresholds are fully inclusive. Recipients pay nothing at the door.
Region | Coverage | Lead time (business days) | Transit (business days) | Flat freight | Free from |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
North America | United States, Canada | 1–2 | 6–8 | $15 | $299 |
Europe + UK | United Kingdom, France, Germany, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Portugal | 1–2 | 7–9 | $18 | $399 |
Oceania | Australia | 1–2 | 9–10 | $20 | $499 |
Furniture specifics
Solid wood is dense and often oversized, so carriers may apply dimensional weight. Dining tables, media units, and other case goods commonly ship LTL with liftgate and cargo insurance. Multi-item orders may be split into separate cartons to reduce risk; where helpful, cartons are banded on a single pallet. Loxsport subsidizes part of the freight, and reinforced packing and the total due are shown clearly at checkout.
Taxes, duties, and customs on international orders
For deliveries to UK, FR, DE, ES, IT, BE, PT, AU, and CA, Loxsport ships DDP (Delivered Duty Paid). Import VAT/GST, duties, brokerage, and customs processing are included in the checkout total in USD. Do not pay the driver. If anyone requests payment at delivery, contact Loxsport immediately.
U.S. orders: Applicable state and local sales tax appears at checkout and is included in the USD total.
Documentation: Loxsport provides a commercial invoice, packing list, and HS codes with each international shipment to support efficient clearance.
Order flow and dispatch
Most furniture moves into final checks and packing within one to two business days.
Orders confirmed before the daily cut-off usually begin the same working day; later confirmations start the next working day.
Pre-order and made-to-order items depart after completion; the confirmation email includes an estimated ship-by date.
If a cart contains mixed lead times, Loxsport may ship ready items first or hold to consolidate; the confirmation will state which method applies.
Support hours: messages receive a reply within one business day (Mon–Fri, CST).
Fraud and verification: For account security, Loxsport may request address or payment verification; lack of response may delay dispatch.
Origin and staging facility
Primary dispatch point for furniture to the U.S., UK, FR, DE, AU, ES, CA, IT, BE, and PT: 749 Port America Place, Dallas, TX 75261.
Terminal holds: Freight terminals can typically hold consignments for several business days; storage beyond that window is billed at carrier rates.
Access, placement, and assembly
Many items ship partially disassembled to protect structural parts and simplify setup. Cartons include an illustrated guide and a basic tool where relevant. Typical setup is straightforward with two adults on a clean, soft surface.
If a building has tight turns, limited elevators, gated entries, stair carries, or truck restrictions, tell Loxsport before shipment so options can be arranged. Room-of-choice placement, stair carries, packaging haul-away, and exact-time appointments are available as third-party upgrades quoted at cost.
Possible carrier-cost fees include missed freight appointments, liftgate refusals, address corrections after dispatch, and re-delivery. If refusal is due to visible carrier-caused damage and noted with the driver, Loxsport handles the claim and no re-delivery fees apply.
Tracking and live updates
When a shipment leaves 749 Port America Place, Dallas, TX, Loxsport emails a confirmation with a tracking link. Please allow time for scans to appear. International pallets may show “label created” until a terminal assigns the freight. If no movement appears after a reasonable period, contact Loxsport so the carrier can be checked.
Status visibility: the Estimated Delivery range on the carrier page updates as the shipment scans through hubs.
Damage, loss, or other issues
Inspect packages at delivery. If something arrives damaged, notify Loxsport promptly and include the order number plus clear photos or a short video of the outer carton, inner packing, and affected areas. Note visible damage with the driver when possible and keep all packing until next steps are confirmed.
For minor cosmetic issues, Loxsport can often send replacement parts or a touch-up kit quickly.
If tracking shows no progress for an extended period, or delivery has not occurred within the stated timeframe from ship date, contact Loxsport. Once the carrier confirms loss, Loxsport will ship a replacement at no charge or issue a full USD refund.
Shipments that are refused or undeliverable due to repeated missed appointments or incorrect addresses may return to sender. Loxsport can re-ship after address verification and payment of any carrier return, storage, or re-delivery fees at cost.
Changes and cancellations
Orders that have not entered packing or shipped can be canceled—reach out as soon as possible. After handoff to the carrier, cancellation is not available. After delivery, refer to Loxsport’s Return & Refund Policy.
For international orders to UK, FR, DE, ES, IT, BE, PT, AU, or CA, cancellation is not available once customs clearance is complete. Address changes after dispatch may incur carrier reroute fees and delays.
